Grape Colaspis

The grape colaspis is a beetle about 3/16 inch long with yellow-brown wing covers having a striped appearance. The white or tan larvae are grub-shaped and up to1/4 inch in length with a brown head and distinct legs.

Adults feed on foliage but rarely cause significant injury. Larvae feed on roots and the underground stem, causing stunted plants.

This is a minor pest found throughout the South and in parts of the Midwest.
