Based on research at the University of Missouri Horticulture and Agroforestry Research Center in New Franklin MO, a system has been developed that allows planting of bare root trees and shubs at any time of the year with outstanding survival.
Using MGB, one can take advantage of the lower cost and lighter weight of bare root nursery stock and avoid the problems associated with an interface between a soil ball and the backfill soil in the landscape.
